Scrappy house number 2

My second house, I intend to make only two houses each month
in the colour set by Angela.
This quilt is going to be named
"Home Sweet Home"

Remember my Scrappy Mountains for the project last year - the top is now complete
and it's hanging in the closet - with six other quilts - waiting to be quilted!

I've just realised we have one more Saturday link left, and I'm not sure
whether to make a couple more stars, I have a lot going on next week
with two new projects - Gypsy Wife see my sidebar - and working
on a Kaleidoscope with my long awaited Mostly Manor fabrics which arrived
yesterday!!!!

That's all this post, we are melting here in Auckland and other parts
of the North Island, not easy to be quilting at the moment.

Hope you all keep safe in the snow storms some of you are experiencing.

Linking up with
"the other blues"
and
Oh Scrap!
for more scrap fun.

  1. I expect that Home Sweet Home will turn out to be equally as lovely as your Scrappy Mountains did. Lovely florals, lovely quilt!!

  2. The flowers peeking through the windows are wonderful--and one of my favorite fabrics. Hmmm...I think you should request some cat fabric from Kaffe so you can have a cat peeking out of the window.

  3. Your house brings to mind the lyrics from the old Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young song..."Our house is a very, very fine house".

And those Scrappy Mountains are Majestic Mountains! Good luck on the quilting!

  4. Beautiful house! Love the flowers in the windows! You have a lot going on..I am still in the midst of Steven's quilt...and I spent the afternoon taking out my Project Life binder and am going to begin for this year to continue. SOOO many pictures that I have to sort and put into my scrapbook. I totally miss doing my scrapbooking...am re-organizing--AGAIN my little room to make space for a station to do this...i think the 3 huge quilts that I made and am still making this past year just tired me out for a bit of quilting...but am going to keep on with that too...so instead of a lot of quilts, i am branching out to my other crafts....hugs, Julierose
