Waiting In The Wings

Thursday, February 18, 2016

And so it begins …...

All the strips are cut for Gypsy Wife and two boxes of scraps for the blocks
organised and waiting!
I'm half way through Section 1 and enjoying working with
lots of different fabrics, I think spray starch may be in order
for some of my Kaffe Collective fabrics as they are
quite fine and some of the blocks are quite
small.

I can see that GW is going to be pretty addictive but I'm
also quilting High Flyer and trying to ration
out my time. There are two more projects I would like
to get organised but they can wait until next week, and tomorrow
is reserved for more GW and starts for RSC 2016.

  3. Uh-oh.....I was wondering if anyone on my blog list was going to do the GW quilt. I will be watching your progress with interest. When I saw the small sizes of things....I decided to just watch. I will cheer you along :)

  4. I have become an eavesdropper on GW all over the place, too; much too difficult for me to tackle. BUT, i do love the look of the finished quilt--yours looks beautiful so far--very rich colors...hugs Julierose

  9. Love the way you are using your beloved KF fabrics for the GW -- I studied the pattern but then decided to focus my time on projects that were already underway. I will be watching yours with great interest!
