I've been fighting a nasty infection all week and dealing
with the unpleasant side effects of the strong antibiotics, quilting was
not on the agenda until today.
Two more blocks for Gypsy Wife
Pershing |
Courthouse Steps |
for Section 2.
Our colourful and noisy feathered friends are back again eating their way
through the apples
and I see I'm having some problems with
the watermark - more work needed here!
I have three days worth of blog posts to read through now
and then tomorrow it's time to sew two more houses for
Maureen
You have such a magical touch with your fabrics...and now I know why. While I love my silly sounding pileated woodpeckers, your parrots are quite a colorful splash!
ReplyDeleteYour Gypsy a Wife us shaping up to be the nicest one I have seen.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better. Those anti bs can be so nasty!
looking bright and fresh! I have a Kaffee Fasset quilt on my blog today. I hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better - love your Pershing block, the colours, the fading effect, just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blocks, is that a Lorikeet or a Parakeet? or neither?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics and bird... even if they are eating all your apples. I hope you get better quickly.
ReplyDeleteLovely 'pershing' block!
ReplyDeleteThat "Pershing" block is one of my favorites too! It's absolutely gorgeous! It will be fun to see your finished quilt, although I know that's not going to happen overnight. That quilt is a ton of work, but so worth it when completed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blocks. The first has a transparency quality about it.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are beautiful - such gorgeous colors! I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better! Think your piecing might be influenced by your colourful apple eating neighbours! Thanks for linking up to #scraptastictuesday!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon! Both your blocks are lovely but the Pershing one is stunning.
ReplyDeleteWonderful blocks!! I hope you're feeling better. The birds look as though they are enjoying their feast of apples.
