A slow sort of week

Since my last post Thursday 9th all I have
achieved on the quilting side is one aqua house for RSC 2016!
A few health problems held me up totally with
lots of things, but I was able to read this

wonderful magazine. It arrives every quarter and is an enjoyable read with
articles, patterns quilt show pics and so on.

On to one RSC 2016 house

not truly aqua or teal, but it leans slightly towards those colours in places,
I also managed to put some lime accent in there.

Probably if I hunt through the other bins of scraps I should
find a piece of the colour of the month, but the thought of emptying out
all those scraps is not a good one!

Tallulah is now much more comfortable around the house,
happy with visitors just as long as they don't tread heavily or have
shoes on, if they have she runs a mile a minute. Don't know quite what happened
to her before the folk at the vet clinic found her, don't think she was a happy kitty though.

Here is she on her Scrap Vortex cushion

taking a break!!

I'll sign off with a lovely sunrise from last week at our place - love that sky!!

I'm off to work on prioritising my projects - of which there are many - after linking up with other
quilters and Angela hosting
Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2016

I'm not always a fan of house blocks but I love that one. I think it might be a greenhouse ( glasshouse ).I can see beautiful plants growing inside it.

I'm glad to hear you're on the mend. Tallulah is certainly learning to pose well. But then she has a beautiful backdrop.

I always enjoy your house blocks and that one fits in with this month just fine! Tallulah looks very content on her cushion - the perfect spot for a quilter's cat!

Sort of teal works just fine for me - I like Ali's idea that this might be a greenhouse. Tallulah looks very contented: nothing like quilts for making a cat feel right at home. :-)

Love the flowers in the windows of your house--so pretty. Glad your kitty has settled in--good company for you. We had our granddog, Kota, here for the day yesterday--I do miss having a doggy. She is just so sweet and very obedient--a treat to have around. Today off to my daughter's to celebrate Father's day with pizza and salad and conversation--a nice catch-up on all my grandchildreb's doings for the Summertime....hugs, Julierose P.S. glad you are feeling better,,,,

Your "teal" and lime house is refreshing - makes me think of a Caribbean vacation!

Your teal house is lovely, so filled with flowers. Tallulah looks a little bit nervous for the camera. Give her time and she will be queen of the house one of these days.

Your house works perfectly - whether you kept to the brief or not! And the sunrise is lovely, we've had some nice skies lately too. I hope your health problems settle down and you're able to get sewing again. Good to hear that Tallulah is feeling more at home these days.

Great house block! What size are they all? I'm looking forward to seeing all these houses together, I guess that will at the end of the year?

I'll be running out to meet the postman today to see if he has my copy of Simply Moderne. I love your house block, it's has a lovely green garden look about it. Tallulah is a sweetie, it's good to know she's ended up in a loving, quilt filled home.

Tallulah is such a lovely girl!
Oh, and I love your house, too, but it's hard to see anything else when Tallulah flashes those big green eyes. 8)
