This is the first green post for RSC 2016 from me this month!
I think I'm slowing up with these projects because I'm finding it difficult
to work with one colour scheme each month this year, I am happiest working
as the mood takes me, if you know what I mean, and with whatever
colour pops up!
However, one green house
and one kitty who looks as though she's going to have
me for her next meal.
She's very kindly allowing me more time for quilting and
tomorrow I hope to finish off a new cover for the ironing board and
prioritise my projects. More on those during the coming week.

I'm glad to hear you would rather work with whatever color pops up. I would have a hard time following someone else's list of colors because I too work on whatever I'm in the mood for. I'm so inspired by colors together and not so much on them separately.

Totally understand your color mood comment -- I am the same way (hence having only 2 longer term RSC projects this year instead of six or more like I did the first year). What a wonderful green house - excellent fabric choice! (and hugs and pets to Tallulah -- what a darling!)
Cute green Kaffe house! Do you have a collection of them? And kitty is adorable! She looks pixilated (which my mom used to say about kitties when they were uncommonly frisky, referring to their "pixie" behavior, not camera pixels). Enjoy your stitching time.
I hope your very determined kitty does not take up shredding fabric for you. The house does have many colors included. My version of green this month does not include any brown except for my cute brown bear.

This is my first year with the challenge and I like having the colors picked for me!!! Every quilter works differently and I think that's what makes the quilty world so much fun! I hope you continue to make your houses because they would really make a great Rainbow quilt! Love this one and I agree with Angie--- it would be perfect in New Orleans!!
I like your green house. I do know what you mean about keeping up with the color of the month. In my case I have too many other things that I need to sew and I am not finding time for the color of the month.
What an adorable new family member, I hope she becomes the perfect second-in-charge-in-the-sewing-department once she settles down!(And her name is a mouthful to spell, as well as say, so I haven't even attempted!). I like your green house, I am hoping I have the motivation to continue on with my rainbow scraps once I return home, I can't have more unfinished objects hanging around!

I would have a problem with one color a month too if I was cutting fabric for blocks but I've found RSC a great way to actually dig into my scraps of one color and get them used up and out of here.
I know what you mean about having a hard time working with the RSC color palettes this year. I'm struggling with them too. Not because they are difficult in any way, I just haven't been in the mood for those colors or haven't had sufficient scraps (and didn't feel like making any!). We had a cat visiting our yard yesterday whose eyes looked far more evil than your kitty's. He thought he was going to have fresh song bird for dinner. We let the dog out to dissuade him. ;-)
