I've been so behind with houses for RSC 2016 but
managed to get down to making two
in the colour of the month - dusty lilac/purple with acid green
as the accent. I really don't do acid green but
here's what I came up with.
The top one is most definitely not acid green, more like my favourite
soft turquoise as the accent.
I was going to post photos of our eldest grand-daughter all ready
for her first ball, she's 17 years old, but mine turned out
ghastly so I'll ask her mum to send me on one of hers.
Bea had the most beautiful corset - quilted!!
Next post I hope to have them on here.
Right now I'll link up with
Angela at Superscrappy
and all the other smoky purples taking part in
Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2016.

Your houses are lovely!
lovely purples, and a hint of green.
Oh, I do love how those vines are climbing up the downspout and up along the roof. It's going to be fun to see how you put all the houses together.
These two houses are "right up my alley"... green and purple is a favorite color combo of mine!
I love your houses - both colour ways!
I love those houses - especially the second one!
Cute houses! That purple Kaffe fabric in the 2nd one has always been a favourite fabric of mine, just never found a place to use it!
I will move into either of your houses!
Wonderful houses!! I much prefer your version of acid green. How many houses are you going to make?
Both houses are lovely additions to your collection. The vines are so clever, climbing up to the roof. I love the turquoise mix. Keep up the good work!
Purple and green compliment each other well. House blocks are always a great choice.
I think your houses are both a beautiful combination of purple and shades of green. I couldn't really come up with electric green either!
I love your piecing as well as your colour combinations - going to be a lovely quilt.
You are ahead of me - I have almost ZERO smoky purples and I used all of my greens together when we did green earlier in the year. So my plan for the month is to work on existing projects and see what I can finish. So far that includes one small quilt quilted and a large QOV top finished. Onward! (I like your color combinations - no labels needed)
Thank you Carolien, you're showing as a noreply-comment blogger so I can only leave my thanks here for you.
