Dawn on the 1st January 2017 in New Zealand
and I'm pondering on projects and finishes for 2017.
Exciting things going on in the blogging world, QALs and one in particular
looks very interesting indeed, this was

a BOM from Jen Kingwell, I think last year, and it's called
Long Time Gone. More on that when I have the information, but
if you Google you can pick up photos.
AHIQ with Kaja and Ann is taking a new direction, and
there is an exciting new project coming up in my quilting life, which
I'm looking forward to very much indeed.
I shall be back with a quilting focused post
tomorrow or Tuesday, but I'll sign off for you folks in the colder climates
with a summer beauty currently lighting up the garden

Oh, nasturtiums! Mine were gorgeous this fall until the frost. Winter wind howling right now.
I look forward to seeing where your quilting adventures take you in the new year. And thank you for posting nasturtiums...one of my favorites. In my last house I had multitudes. Here, I suspects the rabbits enjoy them too much for the plants to flourish.
Definitely a good start to 2017! Happy New Year.
Happy New Year Maureen! Thanks for the photo of the nasturtiums. It is so nice to see blooms while we are cold.
Happy new year, Maureen! May you have a wonderful, quilty year :)
Happy New Year to you Maureen--It is in the low 40's here today, so not too bad. Icing my back and hoping for a brighter 2017...hugs Julierose
Thank you for the flowers! Sooooo appreciated as I look at my snow-blanketed yard.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you get up to next. I know it'll be colorful! 8)
Happy New Year Maureen, a lovely dawn photo to start the year with :-) It sounds like you have an exciting quilting year ahead of you!
How beautiful to be enjoying orange nasturtiums on January 1st! Thanks for sharing.
We have lots of cold and snow here.
Happy New Year to you and your family, Maureen.
What a beautiful dawn photo. Looks as though you are another person who doesn't lie in.
Happy New Year- look forward to seeing your quilty project list.
What a lovely photo to start 2017. And nasturtiums always take me back to my childhood, so thanks for a moment of happy memories!
What beautiful colors to start 2017.
Thank you Carolien, I hope you too enjoy 2017. You are showing as a noreply-comment blogger so I'm unable to email a reply to you.
Happy New Year and your photos are a cheery way to bring it in. Sorry I have been missing in action but I've been ill for a couple of weeks and cannot shake off this cough and virus. I'm shattered. Dying to get stitching again but drained of energy.
I'm intrigued by your anticipated new direction in quilting. Can't wait to hear your news.
