My copy arrived here in Auckland, New Zealand after
a lovely trip with a few stops along the way!
I checked the tracking site daily - three different stops in Tennessee,
three in Florida and lo and behold a night in Taiwan, so this is
a well travelled book indeed.
It's a beauty, and later this evening I shall be sitting and reading!

Next stop - Gypsy Wife
part of Section 3 in the making, there are two more
blocks, 10" and a 9" (thank goodness) to add to this and then on to
Section 4.
Such an enjoyable quilt to be making but patience is needed - and a
seam ripper!
For some easy stitching I've been sewing tumblers into pairs
these were begun as a leader/ender project but I'm just pushing
them through now whenever I can!

And the gypsy wife quilt is enjoyable for me too...that is, watching you make yours. Beautiful!

You have a mixed combo going on! Our mail service takes a very round about way to anywhere. The gypsy looks good....know you are glad for a few larger blocks. Glad you are including some solids for a place for the eye to rest.
Very 'gypsy' looking, I love that vertical strip fabric L)hand end!
I like the little bits of really deep blue and purple in the Gypsy Wife block. My copy of Julie's book has arrived too - doesn't it look great!
