It has been two weeks since I last put "needle to fabric"
due to not being well and having an emergency stay of a few days in hospital!
Follow up procedures are coming up - not very pleasant ones - but in the
meantime I intend to get busy with my quilting, and there is nothing like
fabric in the mail for raising the spirits
I'm not in the habit of buying a number of fabrics from one range
but I fell in love with the Tula Pink "Eden" range, same with the
Amy Butler fabrics and of course I had to have a few of the new
Kaffe Collective fabrics - I did buy more but didn't get around to taking a photograph.
Trying to get back into quilting gear I made an extra teapot this afternoon
not in the colour of the month for RSC2015 but just because
I love the Dream fabric in every colourway.
So, taking it easy I have been busy reading and wandering around the garden
and my freesias are
just coming to the end of flowering
I shall certainly miss their lovely perfume!
Hope you all have a happy week of quilting and I hope to get more done this week.
Maureen

Another glorious teapot! Scrum my fabrics too. Hope that has lifted your spirits. Sorry to hear you have had a bad patch.
Sorry to hear you have been ill, sounds miserable. Your fabrics are delicious: both sets are just begging to be sewn together into something (are they destined to be put together or are they just heading for stash?)
Hope you start feeling better soon. Lovely fabrics, where do you normally buy from online?
Lets hope your love of fabrics have you up and sewing and enjoying life soon!
Lovely fabrics, specially the Kaffee ones. Do you need a recuperation "home away from home" afterwards? Just " Grab-a-seat" to P North, always a bed here, and of course some fabric and a machine . Take care, hugs .
Oh, no......hope you are doing better and that up coming events are not so bad. fabric does take our mindsoff things..sew on.
Lovely fabrics--hope you are feeling "up to par" very soon--hugs, Julierose
Love the colors of those glorious fabrics ! Do rest and take care - sending hugs.
Fabric and sewing are the best therapy! Hope the tests aren't as unpleasant as you expect and that the results will diagnose the problems. Take care!
Sorry to hear you have not been well. Hope you get to feeling better soon!
I was hoping that your absence was fun and family related...but now I'm hoping that you mend quickly so you can really enjoy all your new fabrics. Take care!
Great fabrics! A feast for the eyes. Love your teapot - so cool! Sorry to hear you have not been feeling well, that's no fun! .... and that you have to have some follow up tests. Hope all is well and back to normal soon.
Hope you are better soon :)
Gorgeous fabrics to lift your spirits. Love the teapot block. Hope you are feeling better and continue to do so.
Get well soon. I can testify to quilting being a good therapy. Enjoy those delightful fabrics.
Wishing you the best. Hope you're better soon. I have a very similar stack of Amy Butler sitting on my counter right now.
Wishing you a speedy and complete recovery. Fabric and sewing have excellent curative powers.
Oh dear, hope you are on the mend! Sending positive thoughts from a Harper Free Government in Canada! We're all pretty thrilled to have our outgoing Prime Minister voted out! It has nothing to do with getting better for you, other than an invitation to surf the net on the recent election in Canada. Happy Recovery with all that gorgeous fabric, nothing like getting fabric in the mail box is there?
Nothing like a bit of retail therapy to cheer one up! Looks like a lovely haul, really love the Amy B. fabrics! Hope you are on the mend soon.
hope you are feeling better and all is well - lovely fabrics!
